Ole Miss’s football program has had a lot of ups and downs in these past few years. This year, the Rebels are confident and ready to become one of the top teams.

The Rebel offense will be strong with two top NFL draft prospects in their starting lineup, A.J. Brown and Greg Little. Besides Brown and Little, Ole Miss has several other talented players that will make their offense hard to stop. Their defense is what needs help though.

Sean Rawlings, center for the Rebels, says how confident he is in the defense and the team in general to make things happen this year.

A lot of the confidence is boosted by quarterback Jordan Ta’amu. Ta’amu came in halfway through last season after previous starter Shea Patterson was injured. Rawlings explains how right away he took control and lifted everyone’s confidence. The team is excited to have a whole season with Ta’amu at the reigns.

The Rebel offensive linemen wanted to show the world how they would go to extreme lengths to protect their quarterback. In a hilarious video made by the team, the lineman act as Ta’amu’s “secret service” to make sure no one and nothing could harm their quarterback. Rawlings shares some of the bloopers making the video at the SEC Media Days.

Rawlings and the other Rebels attending the Media Days shared much of their confidence in their team and left us all with high expectations for Ole Miss this year.
